Wisconsin Licensed
The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems with a primary focus on commercial construction projects, including new construction, tenant build-outs, and service work. This role requires a high level of technical skill, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while ensuring all work meets applicable codes and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial construction environments
- Perform rough-in and finish work for water supply, sanitary, vent, and gas piping systems
- Interpret and execute work from blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Participate in commercial projects including schools, municipal buildings, and large-scale facilities
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and service repairs as required
- Install plumbing fixtures and equipment including sinks, toilets, water heaters, pumps, and specialty systems
- Ensure all work complies with Wisconsin Plumbing Code and project specifications
- Coordinate effectively with general contractors, project managers, and other trades
- Maintain accurate documentation of labor, materials, and completed work
- Operate and maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License (required)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of plumbing experience, with preference for commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin plumbing codes and commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work in construction environments, including confined spaces and elevated surfaces
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential service environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, customer communication skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality, code-compliant work. The position includes a mix of service calls, maintenance, and small project work, with opportunities to support light commercial construction and tenant improvements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls for plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, fixture failures, and system malfunctions
- Diagnose problems and provide effective repair solutions in a timely manner
- Repair and replace plumbing components including water heaters, fixtures, valves, piping, and pumps
- Perform drain cleaning, system troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, solutions, and recommendations
- Prepare and document work orders, materials used, and time spent
- Ensure all work complies with Wisconsin Plumbing Code and safety standards
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Support small-scale commercial projects, remodels, and tenant build-outs as needed
Qualifications
- Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License preferred (or Registered Apprentice with experience)
- Minimum of 2–5 years of plumbing service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Wisconsin plumbing codes and best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work in tight spaces, basements, mechanical rooms, and on ladders
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
